Peterhead Ugie Beach

A beautiful, unspoilt beach backed by low sand dunes and with rocks at either end, it is no distance from the centre of Peterhead. It is reached by the ‘Birnie Brig’ footbridge across the River Ugie leading also to the Peterhead Golf club – the 18th oldest golf club in the world. The river estuary here is an excellent spot for watching birds.
