This delightful gently sloping beach stretches east from the historic fishing village of Sandend.
This delightful gently sloping beach stretches east from the historic fishing village of Sandend – established in the early 1600s. There are no shops though you can buy fresh fish here from the wholesale and retail fish merchant, J Smith. From the well maintained car park there is a short path down to the beach. Further along overlooking the beach is an excellent car park reserved for ‘disabled persons’.Good surf spot.Seaside Award, Public Toilets.
