Sunnyside Beach

A gem of a beach backed by cliffs with sand dunes at one end, it is a walk of about a mile from the signposted car park just west of Sandend. The path passes through fields and close to the historic Findlater Doocot and the cliff top ruins of Findlater Castle and then slopes gradually down to this most intimate and rewarding of beaches. The beach can also be reached by the Moray Coastal Trail between Portsoy and Sandend.
