Covesea Skerries Lighthouse

Covesea Skerries Lighthouse
This lighthouse marking the skerries, a site of several shipwrecks, was built in 1846. There is a good walk along the coast from here to Hopeman with its fossil bearing Red Sandstone cliffs. The keepers’ cottages are now self catering accommodation run by the National Trust for Scotland.
