Residence of the bishops of Moray from the 14th century to 1686. Massive tower with spectacular rooftop views over Spynie Loch.
For nearly 500 years, the bishops of Moray relaxed in this majestic building a short distance from their cathedral at Elgin. It even had its own bowling green and, according to one account, a tennis court.Today, you can climb David's Tower, where bishops once entertained kings and queens.
