Clachnaben 589m (1932ft)
This is an easily identified hill due to the large granite tor that sits atop its heather-coned summit.
This hill sits on the end of a broad, heather soaked, elevated arm radiating from the Cairngorm Mountains. A good walk to the summit can be had via the part-forested Glen Dye, starting from the Banchory to Fettercairn road. The summit tor reaches 25m (80ft) in height on its east face and offers limited rock climbing opportunities.
