Linn O' Dee Waterfall

Linn O' Dee Waterfall
A well-known waterfall where the River Dee forces its way through a long narrow gorge.
This famous waterfall, surrounded by pine trees, has been a popular place to visit since Victorian times. Here the River Dee is channelled through a long narrow cleft in the rocks. The bridge, just upstream, was built in 1857 and was opened by Queen Victoria, who recorded: ‘..we drank in whisky ‘prosperity to the bridge.’ ‘ There is large car park nearby with the falls just a short walk away.Trip Advisor reviews
