The largest of Colonsay’s lochs it holds a good stock of native brown trout.
Loch Fada, or in reality the three Loch Fadas, stretch for two miles across the centre of the island. This loch and two others hold native brown trout introduced to the island by the monks of Kiloran Abbey many centuries ago. Boats are available. The season runs from March 17th to September 30th.
