Carskey Bay

This beautiful beach, backed by sand dunes, stretches west from red sandstone cliffs at Keil Point to the mouth of the Strone and Breackerie Waters. The Keil Caves just to the east of the car park are well worth a visit. Near here you'll find a pair of footprints carved into the rock, a reminder that this is where St Columba first landed in Scotland.
