Kiloran Beach

A reason in itself for visiting Colonsay, this Atlantic beach with wide golden sands is one of the most beautiful in Scotland. Backed by great dunes, it is crossed by a meandering burn at one end. In the cliffs at the northern end are three spectacular caves inhabited in pre-historic times.  It is the best beach on Colonsay for surfing.There is a car park off the Urgaig road with a seat and easy access down to the beach. See on Trip Advisor
