A friendly beach, it is close to the road just to the north of Campbeltown.
This long sandy beach stretches north from the village of Peninver. It is one of the few places in Scotland where lobster fishermen launch their boats off a beach. Close to Campbeltown, this a sheltered spot to swim if the wind is in the west. There is ample car parking.
