Kilbrannan Chapel

Kilbrannan Chapel
This prominent medieval chapel by the shore is a short but rewarding walk from Skipness Castle.
This ruined chapel beside the shore, dedicated to St Brendan, was built in the late 13th or early 14th century. It remained a place of worship until the early 18th century and its graveyard is still in use today. Here you’ll find several late medieval grave slabs and many interesting early gravestones. The chapel is a short walk from Skipness Castle.
