A hill of two halves, the west side has gentle grassy slopes, whilst the east is steeper and rockier.
This lovely positioned hill gives a feeling of space, which in turn has unencumbered views down the Mull of Kintyre and beyond. The easiest approach is via the gentle west slopes from Invernoaden. A substantial amount of aircraft wreckage of a US Grunman Wildcat, which crashed in 1940 can be found at 700m at GR 155973, approx. 1km south of the summit
