Falls of Lora

The ‘falls’ are one of the most spectacular sights in Scotland. This tidal race is at its best a few days either side of spring tides when the water from the 30 km long Loch Etive forces its way through this narrow gap. There is parking on the north side of the bridge, from here you can get down to the shore, though the falls are probably best viewed from the bridge itself.
