CairnGorm Mountain Railway

At Cairngorm Mountain you can take the mountain railway in safety and comfort up to the Top station 1097m above sea level. Here you will find an outdoor viewing terrace, an exhibition (about the wildlife, history, climate and ecology of the Cairngorms), the Ptarmigan restaurant and a gift shop. Alternatively walk up to the top and relax on the train coming down, enjoying the spectacular scenery as you descend.Facilities include parking, mountain railway, 2 restaurants, 2 shops, ranger service, mountain garden and camera obscura.
