Bynack More 1090m (3576ft)

Bynack More 1090m (3576ft)
This conical shaped mountain sits on the northern fringe of the Cairngorms.
The most distinguishing features of this fine mountain is the steep, exposed north ridge and also the Barns of Bynack, a selection of crumbling granite tors which rise to 12m (40ft) in height that are located 500m south of the summit. The mountain can either be combined with an ascent or Cairngorm, or via a sweeping footpath from Glen More; incidentally, just off this path at 740m GR (048094) some aircraft wreckage can be found in amongst boggy ground.
