The highest and most distinctive hill in the Monadhliath hills. It has a defined summit ridge and a steep northeast face.

Oddly enough the highest hill in the Monadhliath hills (grey hills)and is known as the red hill. It peaks above the vast moorland plateau associated with the area. The peak can be accessed from Glen Banchor behind the village of Newtonmore.
