Meall a'Bhuachaille 810m (2657ft)

This shapely peak to the north of the main cairngorm massif is a wee gem.

This steep peak, coated in heather on its upper slopes provides one of the most entertaining short walks in the Cairngorms National Park. It is reached by a circular path that leads out from Glenmore through the Pass of Ryvoan, with its old Caledonian pine trees and amazing Green Loch, and then carries on up to the summit from the Ryvoan Bothy. Views to the North across the Spey Valley are equally as good as the ones over the Cairngorms to the south.
