King's Cave and Blackwaterfoot

A superb coastal walk visiting a series of caves in the sandstone cliffs. Historic King's Cave is one of several locations in which Robert the Bruce is said to have had his famed encounter with a spider. Although described anti-clockwise, this walk can be completed in either direction. The bus can be used along the A841 to shorten the walk.Terrain - Beaten earth woodland tracks and potentially rough beach walking followed by good golf course paths.
