Girvan Beach

This popular sandy beach, with its esplanade and grassland parks, stretches south from Girvan’s harbour and fishing port. There are superb views out to the spectacular volcanic plug and nature reserve of Ailsa Craig. Boat trips sail daily to the island. Woodlands Bay just to the south of the beach is a good spot for finding fossils.Car parking and toilets by the harbour and also at the southern end of the beach.
