Greenan Shore

This great sandy beach, backed by dunes, lies at the south end of Ayr Bay between the River Doon and the spectacular cliff top Greenan Castle. You can walk to the Heads of Ayr from here along the Ayrshire Coastal path.There are two car parks, one off Greenan Road and one on Castle Walk, both reached along the Earl’s Way.
