Turnberry Beach

This great sandy beach runs north along the coast beside the famous Turnberry golf course to the prominent lighthouse built at Turnberry Point in 1873. At its southern end the beach can be reached from the car park in the small village of Turnberry. At the northern end there is a track across the golf course to the lighthouse and beach from a roadside parking area off the A719.
