Beinn Bhan 896m (2940ft)
This vast, flat topped and isolated mountain dominates the whole Applecross peninsula.
This bulky mountain with a flat summit plateau hides its stupendous and treacherous eastern corries. They are possibly the steepest and highest of any Torridonian sandstone cliffs in the northwest and are home to some of the best ice climbs in Scotland. To reach the summit of the mountain, it is best to start from the bridge over the river Kishorn and strike up the ridge. Or a flatter means is to take undulating ground from the summit of the Bealach na Ba. Views across to Skye are extensive.
