Beinn Damh 903m (2963ft)
Although just short of 3000ft, this fine mountain sits proudly above the southern shores of Loch Torridon.
This is another unsung gem of a mountain, although lesser known and less travelled than its more famous and higher neighbours. An enjoyable day out can be had starting from the Loch Torridon Hotel. A stalker’s path ascends through some native forest and past waterfalls before the open hillside is reached. The mountain has a long rising ridge with great views across an impressive array of peaks.
