Clo Mor cliffs, Sutherland

The highest mainland cliffs in the UK at 281m(920ft)with a huge seabird colony they are usually visited via the passenger ferry across the Kyle of Durness and then a mini-bus ride en route for Cape Wrath. The area offers a real wilderness experience on the edge of Scotland. However, the area is also an important military firing range (using live ammunition) and visits should be planned accordingly.
