Falls of Balgy
A splendid series of falls on the River Balgy as it falls steeply to the sea.
These attractive falls, on the River Balgy as it flows the short distance from Loch Damnh to the sea, are well worth visiting. There is signposted path to the falls just to the east of Sheildaig at Balgy Bridge on the A896. From the roadside parking here it is a short walk to the first of the falls -a good place to see salmon and sea trout leaping in June, July, and August.
