Meall a' Ghiubhais 887m (2910ft)

This steep hill is somewhat hidden from view and dwarfed by its mightier neighbours.

The main attribute to this steep hill is that it sits midway between Beinn Eighe to the south and Slioch to the north and gives superb views to them. The hill is best climbed in conjunction with the well signposted mountain trail, which starts by the east shore of Loch Maree inside the Beinn Eighe Mountain Reserve. The path climbs steeply past waterfalls and then flattens out. The hill can be ascended easily from the top of the mountain trail.
