Morven 706m (2316ft)
This steep hill, with its distinct shape and isolation, is a very well known landmark.
The distinctive pyramid shape of this peak can be seen up to 100 miles away across the Moray Firth. It was here that the Duke of Kent, brother of King George VI, was killed in August 1942 when his aircraft flew into the hillside. The hill can be gained from the road head at Braemore to the east.
