This is an identifiable hill due to its three rounded, heather- clad peaks, the central one being the highest.

Along with Morven this is a prominent landmark on the north east coast of Scotland. The three peaks are heather clad with a broad ridge joining them that is also liberally scattered with scree. A Canberra bomber crashed into the hill in 1966, wreckage can still be found 300m from the summit. The best access is from Braemore to the northeast.
