Silverbridge Falls

Hidden from view these falls should be a ‘must visit’ on the A835 road to Ullapool. Here the Black Water falls steeply and fast over shelf after shelf of flat rocks. Two bridges cross the river, a modern one and the 18th century double arched Silver Bridge. This is a good place for swimming with a delightful circular walk down the river. Large car park with public toilets.
