Rockcliffe Beach

This friendly beach is close to the centre of the pretty village of Rockcliffe. At high tide the sea can be almost up to the road beside the beach, at low tide it is almost a mile away across the sand flats. Get the tide right and from here you can walk out to Rough Island, a bird reserve. To prevent disturbance of breeding birds please do not visit between May and mid –July. Coastal walk to Sandyhills.Rockcliffe is signposted off the A710. Car park and public toilets in the village.
