A smooth sloped hill with broad, grassy ridges.
This is the highest hill of a huge tract of upland area between Carsphairn and Sanquhar. It is a rounded, grassy hill most commonly ascended from the Green Well of Scotland to the south west. A Spitfire aircraft named Blue Peter, crashed 1km NE of the summit at Roaring Cleuch in 1942.
