Queen Mary’s Bath House

This late 16th century building is next to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

This late 16th century building next to the Palace of Holyroodhouse is unlikely to be a bath house. It was once attached to a wall encircling the King’s Privy Garden and is thought to have been a pavilion or summer house – possibly the oldest surviving tennis pavilion in the world.
