Pentland Hills 579m (1900ft)

This Regional Park is easily reached from Edinburgh and has over 100km of signposted routes, mostly over heather moorland. One of the access points is from the A702 layby near Silverburn. A footpath from here leads to the summits of Scald Law and Carnethy Law.
