St Andrews East Sands

The more intimate of St Andrews two great beaches, it is a short distance from both the cathedral and the castle and can be reached by a bridge across the harbour. If you are driving, it is signposted off the A917, with the car park right behind the beach. Facilities include a cafe near the harbour and another cafe selling ice creams below the Boat Club plus a picnic area and play park.Dog restrictions from June to September. Seaside Award.
