Garbh Bheinn (Ardgour) 885m (2904ft)

A superb, rugged mountain that is the finest (if not the highest) on the Ardgour peninsula.

Garbh Bheinn is a fine mountain in many ways. It has an extremely rugged peak with a precipitous vertical cliff falling straight down from the summit, home to many rock climbs and its east ridge is known as 'Great Ridge', one of the best long scrambles in Scotland. The mountain is very prominent from across Loch Leven at Glencoe. It is best approached fro the south, the slopes are very steep and the views magnificent.
