Sgorr nam Fiannaidh (Aonach Eagach) 967m (3173ft)

A very steep peak and the highest summit on the western end of the highly acclaimed Aonach Eagach Ridge.

The north side of Glencoe rises steeply and treacherously up to a very airy and spectacular ridge (the Aonach Eagach) between its two main peaks; this one in the west and Meall Dearg 953m to the east. The ridge is precipitous and rocky and requires scrambling and a good head for heights. It draws walkers and scramblers from far and wide. The mountain can be accessed via the small road that passes the Clachaig Hotel. The ascent is steep and a traverse of the ridge requires prior planning.
