Once through the gatehouse, one takes the first left off of Lord Macdonald's drive and then proceeds all the way to the top of the gardens. The Museum is situated there. Six interconnecting galleries each with their own theme take you through 1500 years of the history and culture of the area once known as the Kingdom of the Isles. The MacDonalds or Clan Donald.
