A' Chralaig 1120m (3675ft)

A fine tapering mountain with smooth, unrelenting slopes, which is the highest point in Glen Shiel.

This mountain lies to the north and east of the Claunie Inn from where an ascent can be done. The slopes are steep and unrelenting, but the views are rewarding over a plethora of peaks which surround it. The ridge north from the summit to its sister Munro: Mullach Fraoch Coire 1102m shouldn’t be missed as it is airy, which necessitates some easy scrambling. Also of note is some plane wreckage low down on the north western slopes of the latter peak at GR (075192).
