An Corran, Staffin Fossils

Dinosaur footprints were first discovered on the shore here in 2002 onwards. Some of these, from a predatory Megalosaurus type dinosaur, were the largest ever found in Scotland. The nearby Staffin Museum has a superb collection of dinosaur fossils.
