A superb mountain of much character that certainly lives up to its name.
Also known as Ben Attow, it is certainly a long mountain of much interest having a long ridge, a flat summit plateau lined by steep slopes to the south and deep set and interesting corries to the north. A traverse of the whole mountain would give a lovely day’s walk, although the easiest access is from Morvich to the west.
