Fairy Pools

These sculpted clear pools and dramatic waterfalls are one of the treasures of Skye. A popular, if cold, swimming spot on the River Brittle at the foot of the Black Cuillins, they are reached from a car park on the road to Glenbrittle. It is a 20 minute walk along a good footpath to the main waterfall. Above this are a series of beautiful pools, one with a natural stone arch which you can swim under. See reviews on Trip advisor
