Kilt Rock

Safely seen from a viewing platform, a vertical coastal cliff formation where sedimentary and igneous rocks are interleaved or vertically banded, resembling the pleats in a kilt. Nearby Loch Mealt drains vertically into the sea here in a 52m (170ft)waterfall.
