Belhaven Bay

This wide expanse of sand stretches north from Dunbar for almost 2 miles. It is one of the best surf spots on east coast of Scotland and home to the local Coast to Coast Surf School. The salt marshes behind the beach are good for bird watching. The main Linkfield car park has public toilets, showers, water for dogs and an adventure play area. There is an additional car park with toilets on the shore at the edge of Dunbar. Dog friendly. Seaside award.
