One of the seven Great Houses of Scotland.
Thirlestane's origins are in the 13th century but the Castle has been rebuilt and extended over the generations. The 17th century ceilings in the State rooms are unrivalled and there are fine collections of furniture, pictures and Historic toys to enjoy.
